Reyhan Şahinbaş
Reyhan Şahinbaş is a lecturer and researcher specializing in biomedical engineering and digital mental health technologies. With a PhD in Informatics and a strong academic background in biomedical engineering, she focuses on developing innovative tools—such as 3D avatars and mobile applications using binaural beats—to support psychiatric treatment, especially for schizophrenia. Her interdisciplinary work combines human-computer interaction, machine learning, and health psychology. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to academic books, and presented her research at national and international conferences.
Currently, she teaches at Istanbul Gedik University and continues to explore the therapeutic potential of immersive and AI-driven technologies in mental health care.
